YSL Touché Éclat Blur Perfector

What it is:
An illuminating primer that blurs imperfections and boosts the radiance of foundation.

What it does:
Touche Elcat Blur Primer preps skin for foundation application, creating an improved, refined appearance: pores seem to be minimized, skin texture feels smoother, and skintone is more even. It’s enriched with four nourishing oils—corn oil, apricot kernel oil, passiflora oil, and rice bran oil—to leave skin feeling incredibly soft without a greasy residue. Packed with blur technology, this universal primer provides a subtle, golden shimmer for ultimate luminosity.

What else you need to know:
This product is noncomedogenic, and it’s suitable for all skintones, including sensitive ones.
Suggested Usage:
-Primer may be applied under foundation to create a perfected canvas or worn alone to maximize radiance.
-Apply one pump of primer on the back of the hand.
-Using the Yves Saint Laurent foundation brush or your fingers, apply with gentle sweeping motions from the center of the face outward.
-Leave to melt into skin for 10 seconds before applying foundation.
Holy smokes this is some good stuff! I am a huge primer promoter. I'm a firm believer in using primer. Even on minimum makeup days I'm wearing a primer. It is one thing I must have.
I am really impressed with this product. The applicator is a bit odd to figure out - I had better luck using my fingers to distribute, as the applicator put WAY too much on my face. With this primer, a little goes a long way! Seriously though, just a little dab on your forehead, under each eye, nose and chin will be able to mattify your entire face and blurs out any blemishes and deep pores. Creating a velvety canvas for the rest of your makeup. It also never pills up and has a nice moisturizing feel to it. It sets into the skin very quickly and doesn't have any kind of greasy residue. The gold glitter isn't too obvious, as long as you're putting some other foundation/powder/bronzer on top. I currently use YSL touche eclat. After applying all my makeup I do find my skin to be more illuminated and I love that. I am all about dewy, highlighted, radiant skin. YAAAAAAAAS!
It is a bit high priced for what it is but over all, I think this primer does exactly what it says it would do. The packaging is very luxurious. I love leaving them out on my vanity. They are way to pretty to be stuffed in my drawer. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good primer and has a high end budget. I know when I use this in conjunction with the Touche Eclat Blur Perfector that my face is going to remain as flawless as it does in the morning, as it does before resting that evening.
This blur perfector is really nice! I mainly use it for touch ups. It blends my smudges back into place while still giving a satin finish to my makeup, not all cakey like a powder would do. I feel ultra luxe pulling this baby out of my clutch for touch ups. BUT if this wasn't sent to me I probably wouldn't pick it up myself. I don't do a ton of touching up, and this guy will cost ya $55. I do occasionally splurge on products (like almost always) but in my little head I dont think i could justify it.

What it is:
A blur perfector compact that perfects the skin while retaining its luminous glow.

What it does:
This portable perfector is Yves Saint Laurent’s first ever blur perfector encased within a compact. It transforms from a balm to a powder upon application to soften the skin’s imperfections—creating a transparent yet subtle, rosy-glow effect. Use it alone as an allover complexion perfector, to set makeup, or as a mattifying touch up to sweep away shine and hide imperfections. Featuring one universal shade that complements all skin types, it instantly minimizes the look of pores so that skin feels smoother and the complexion appears more even.

What else you need to know:
This product is noncomedogenic and ideal for all skintones and skin types.
